A Minecraft DLC that is based on Lightyear by Pixar includes new content, including Buzz's birth story. The most recent Minecraft blog post described the Lightyear DLC as an "blocky intergalactic adventure," which will include five missions. In these missions, players battle enemies with various weapons and fight in hostile environments and fly a variety of aircraft to avoid obstacles.
"In the Lightyear DLC, players can play through Buzz's story and help him navigate an extraterrestrial planet following an unfortunate crash landing," says a portion of the post. "You can play through five missions with the Academy-trained hero, which includes the dangers of a swamp, a jungle, and a mine, as well as various alien settlements."
The Lightyear DLC will also come with an exclusive Lightyear-themed Character Creator item. It's currently not available for Nintendo Switch, but the blog post said it would be available on the console "soon."
